About Us

We are based in the United Kingdom, not known for world beating ski resorts... Actually we get very little snow at all apart from up in the north of Scotland but we don't give in that easily and the UK is responsible for the invention of the 'Dry Slope' which is beginning to spread around the world.

Many snowboard brands promote themselves as run by snowboarders for snowboarders - OK, we snowboard but we call ourselves engineers and scientists because we prefer to fly in planes designed by aeronautical engineers rather than pilots...

Our objective is to push the boundaries of science and technology to deliver the ultimate snowboard without costing the earth - both financially and literally - if we want to keep getting snow in the right places at the right time, we need to look after the planet!

We don't want to just announce new snowboard technologies as being the best - we want to PROVE it!

Our Technical Director, Liza Brooks, is a 24 year old prize winning engineering graduate in the third year of her four year doctoral research program at Cranfield University - one of the world's leading centres of expertise in composites technology.

Our core research and development is being conducted in the public domain and subject to rigorous scientific peer review.

One last thing...

In order to give you, our customer, the best value, we sell our boards directly to you via this website. This means that we can be typically around 30% cheaper than the equivalent boards in the shops.

But - we hear you ask... What is the ultimate snowboard?

1. Performance - to match the expectations of the rider, whether they are a complete newbie or an Olympic competitor.

2. Durability - we know what snowboards are subjected to, why should they break or even wear out?

3. Ease of Use - waxing, grinding, sharpening... do we really need to keep doing these things?

It's a journey - we've set out along the road but we haven't got there yet - but watch this space!
